When I took my first web design class in 2004 it was all about coding in Dreamweaver and creating animation in Flash. Flash forward today and it seems like all that I learned back then was from the stone age era and is completely irrelevant today. Its like learning a new foreign language. But one fact is clear, there are a lot more tools available today than were at that time to help out beginners in this field. Here are a few links I stumbled upon this week. Besides Lynda videos Adobe has pretty decent beginner videos on everything from basic site layout to adding media. Its also surprising how jQuery is completely making Flash obsolete.
